Northcote Terrace Houses by Taylor Knights Architects
– Future –
"With sensitivities from a planning point of view to provide four dwellings on a lot, the proposal is discreet – a gentle, singular raked roof form of slate tiles, a subtle recessed dormer, and curved motifs to the verandah fretwork, all a contemporary play on the surrounding heritage features of the neighbouring context.
The overall form could be mistaken for a large house. Rather, the arrangement offers four attached terrace houses, each with individual titles, that present cohesively. As attached terrace houses, the spaces offer light and volume; simple principles, however, often hard to come by in anything other than bespoke homes."
