Andrew Burns Architecture

“A house is a village, a city, a sanctuary. Its temporal qualities of space and light – how a home feels throughout the day, season to season – are essential to nourish the people who live there. Tactile materials that age gracefully are deeply important. Relating to context and climate is vital. Design must deliver light and shade in a way that balances privacy and connection. Above all else, a home must connect us to a garden and an outlook, so imaginations (and our legs) can roam.
