Fitzroy Terrace by Taylor Knights

Fitzroy Terrace by @taylorknightsarchitects takes on the challenge of typical terrace projects - long narrow sites with double-height party walls on both sides, with access to natural light being the biggest obstacle. Light-catching volumes and openings help overcome this, as well as having the living spaces on the first floor. This not only gives better access to light, but also ventilation and views to the north and south.
Being aware of the benefits of having a connection to nature, Fitzroy Terrace by @taylorknightsarchitects introduces outdoor spaces on each level. These spaces provide a lush backdrop to the home, and beautiful city views when on the roof deck.
What may be possibly the main feature of the home, a boundary-to-boundary board-form concrete ceiling on the first level expresses the level of craftsmanship in the home.
